Dealing With Our Past

hand of lightAll of us have a past and for most of us, it can be very hurtful to bring things up that are painful to us. However, if we do manage to process through our stuff, we are able to be set free by the truths that govern our lives. What say you, are you ready to clear things up so you can be free to be happy and fulfilled?

I want to share some things with you that are somewhat personal. I was a bachelor for many years and I dated a lot and as a result, I slipped into sexual transgression over a long period of time. I managed to come to the point of not liking what I was becoming. I became shamed because of my religious background did not agree with the lifestyle that I had been living. As some of you already know by being avid readers, I was a cocaine addict and cocaine was like an aphrodisiac to me.

Some of you know my spiritual experience that I had with Jesus and was delivered from my cocaine addiction in one night. God plucked out that addiction and loved on me to the point of sobbing for what seemed to be a very long time. I made a covenant with God that night of my conversion. I told him that I would go back to church and clean my life up if only He would take away my miserable cocaine addiction. Well, He did and I did clean up. I promised that I would live a life of celibacy and that I would serve Him the rest of my days.

There is one problem with that promise. I did not fill in what was taken out. What I mean is that like a warehouse that has had a clearing out sale, there was a lot of empty space just for the enemy to fill in in its stead. I like many men and women today had developed a porn addiction. There is no discrimination to target a porn recipient today. All a person has to do is look around and all a guy sees is walking porn by how today’s women dress. It is difficult for a person struggling to be moral when all you see is immorality.

Why do I bring this up? I want you to know that I have taken a stand and clear out my warehouse again and this time I am going to fill it with good stuff like the Silva Method Principles for living. I believe in the Silva Method because of how I feel when I hear the testimonies of people that have gone through the Silva Method training.

I believe that my problem is not just a spiritual problem, it is an emotional problem too because it weakens a person’s spirit and we allow ourselves to be subjected to the enemy’s design to take us down. This is certainly a hot topic that many people do not want to talk about let alone broadcast to thousands of people.

I believe that real personal power is just underneath vulnerability. inspiration_articleRemember “the truth shall set you free.” The problem with people is that they do not get real with themselves and so their lives are a façade’. They are painfully miserable because the façade keeps the lie alive and the truth to be blurred.

The statistics are staggering.

Approximately 40 million people in the United States are sexually involved with the Internet. For more statistics click

Whatever unfinished business you have concerning your past needs to be addressed as soon as you possibly can, do it and do not waste another day on giving the enemy a foothold to your life. Get counseling or check out the Silva Method videos on YouTube. Whatever method you can use to heal is what you want to pursue.

I am being vulnerable with you because it is part of the plan to expose the demons so they do not have any power over me. Do you have the courage to call out your demons? Are you tired of the way your life is going? What is your deal? What do you want to work on getting rid of?

We all have skeletons in our closets and we need to deal with them without being toxic to society. Society is full of toxicity which in part has come down from generational to generation as dysfunction. So I pose this question to you, are you going to pass the unfinished hurts and pains down to your children and your children’s children?

PLEASE NOTE:  The 94% statistic for people wanting to ban Internet pornography because we all know that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We want to protect ourselves from ourselves!

Just something to think about huh?
